The CyclOn DOT 5.1 brake fluid can be used for hydraulic brake hoses from SRAM, Avid and Formula.
Compatibility
The CyclOn DOT 5.1 brake fluid can be mixed with brake fluids that comply with the FMVSS116 standards. These are DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids for hydraulic disc brakes. The CyclOn DOT 5.1 can not be used in combination with Shimano, Magura or LHM+ mineral oil or DOT 5 brake fluid.
Use
Begin by cleaning the brake hoses with a suitable cleaner. Dispense the correct amount and change the fluid after a few months. If you should spill some fluid, wipe off immediately with a wet cloth because brake fluid damages the paint on your bike.
