Dynamic Striptease is a concentrated biodegradable degreaser specially made to prepare a bike chain optimally for the application of wax, particularly hot wax. Before applying wax, it is important to clean the chain thoroughly, as every bit of dirt left behind has a negative effect on the wax action. Dynamic Striptease removes grease, oil, sand and old wax from the chain.
A normal degreaser also cleans a chain well but always leaves a layer on it. This optimally prepares the chain for use of an oil-based lubricant. If you are going to apply (hot) wax, you want to avoid this and make sure the chain is 100% clean; Striptease chain cleaner is your best choice to achieve this.
